I am asking SCA if I can attend in the spring instead of the fall. I know it sounds weird, but I have already put a lot of money into my current university and this seems like the best way to handle things.</p>

<p>yeah, i received a SGR. they had just received my grades on wednesday and my status hasn’t changed since then. you’re right, it’s definitely better than just getting rejected upfront, lol. </p>
<p>i would try talking to my admission counselor but she never writes or calls me back. i’ve called and emailed her like 3 times and i have never gotten a response from her :/</p>

i applied to CLAS as undecided. i figured it would be less competitive for me to get in with that, plus i don’t really have much college experience for the majors that i really would have wanted to apply for so i knew i wouldn’t have gotten in for those. if i don’t hear anything today, then this is gonna be such a long long weekend, lol.</p>

<p>woah. i just called fin.aid again and they told me they couldn’t accept my call due to the high volume of calls they are receiving!</p>
<p>Yeah, fin aid had me on hold for 20 minutes this morning. I just sent them an e-mail instead.</p>

But I am asking to be put in the Spring because I have paid for Syracuse housing, and the deposits, and a million other things at my current university.</p>

<p>i just called to see if they received an additional letter that i sent about a week ago and LUCKY ME got the only guy who talks super quietly and was trying to rush me off the phone. he said they are still reviewing my application, but my status doesn’t say that they are yet. i’m not sure if he just said that or what because he didn’t pause and i would assume he would have to check my status on the computer to know this. blah</p>

And I’m living off campus to ‘save money’, but now I have to pay for that housing no matter what because I signed a lease!</p>
<p>Plus I could just change my schedule to fill in some GE’s.
Instead of going abroad, I’ll go to USC!</p>
