<p>GRind: i finally got home: here is what my package says: You have been admitted to the major noted above rather than to the first-choice you listed on your application because the competition for your first-choice program has been exceptionally keen. bla bla…However, if you wish, you may also contact the department of your first-choice major to explore the possibility of entry entry into that.</p>

<p>Acted upon. I already got my package and everything. I was accepted for economics, and on my admission letter it says that Marshall is still reviewing my application.</p>

then when your status changes to in review june 11th one, in less than a week it becomes acted upon and u hear!</p>

<p>It has to be a good thing. If their still reviewing your app. If they were to have rejected you it would of been done by June 1st. Did they ask you for SGR?</p>
<p>I think I got a lot help from my admissions counselor. I stayed in contact with him and he hooked me up.</p>
