oh sweet. that’s awesome! i love the rose parade!

You love to watch it; marching it is another story. Six miles. Only time I ever began to get tired of Tribute to Troy.

i wanna join the marching band!! what do you play, iamrecognized?

Trumpet. Even if you don’t play an instrument, you can start out in the band. We’ll give you a trumpet of something; it’s easy to play, and even if you can’t, we’re load enough as it is. Be aware though, it’s hard work (lots of running), and your first year will be a little annoying (freshman are obviously the lowest tier). But it’s worth it. And you get into all the home football games for free.

i played the saxophone at high school, but only for 2 years. haven’t touched it in 4 years now. damn.

yeah, i can imagine college marching band being really intense, especially at USC. i play alto sax and did marching band all throughout HS, but my school wasn’t really into competitions or anything and no one took it seriously. kinda sucked, but a real experience seems cool. so it’s open to anyone willing to join?

yeah peppa i know what you mean. i played alto for 10 years and i haven’t touched it in just about a year. i can only imagine what kind of horrible sounds i would produce if i tried again, haha.

Meh. We don’t like the woodwinds; take up trumpet.

Does anyone know when USC certifies your classes? Do I need to submit my Enrollment deposit first?? Thanks

haha yeah marco. i love playing the piano though!!

speaking of pianos, listen to this song:
eric prydz - pjanoo =)

anyway  hey everyone  havent been on here for a while, been busy chillin with friends and partying etc

to everyone who has been accepted, congrats!
to those still waiting, good luck!
and to those who were rejected, keep your head up! life has a weird way of making things work out, trust me, im one of those cases where basically my whole world fell apart and i felt like sh-t but then things took an upward turn and with help from family and friends, everything got great  and now im going to usc :)

on another note:
hows everyone else doing ? excited about summer? any cool plans ? :)

gooodddd morning beautiful people! haha :)

Goood morning best support group ever!
I had a total of 4 nervous meltdowns during the weekend over a document that financial aid was asking me about, but I almost got it figured out now, so life is good again :)

Good Morning
Today is my day. I am claiming it.

Kinda jazzed. Is it a red/gold folder?

I also got an email from USC about financial aid. I hope filling out all their forms will pay off.

Ok…here is my dilemma (its not really a problem…it’s just a little confusing)

I emailed FIn Aid last wed. telling them that they requested a home value form, but I rent my house so i have no idea what they want from me.

By friday I hadn’t gotten a response so I called and the guy told me to send in my lease agreement, but it’s expired. So I called again, and he told me to send in an “official” letter from the landlord “stating the details” of our agreement.

After I went through hell and finally got the landlord to write a letter, yesterday I received a response to the first e-mail i sent and it said: Thank you for this information. We will contact you if we need anything else…

W T F

I was an 8/15 deadline, no packet yet, but my FA was posted and includes fall 2009 aid and says my enrollment plan starts fall 2009, so I guess I’m fall! See all you guys at orientation!

Good luck today people. Apparently people are still waiting for their decisions!

i just saw my bf’s financial aid… 40k in grants 0.0
