Yes, I FedEx’d it. It should be there today.

Marco, you should check daily until your documents are under “Pending”. But It can take up to two days or so, so if they are not there by Wednesday morning, I would advise you to call.
As for the when they give out awards…that is a mystery. I applied in February, sent in some extra stuff they asked me for, the latest on June 5th, and I still haven’t received anything. USC=waiting.

Any newly accepted transfer students out there? If you are a girl and interested in living in an apartment through USC Housing please send me a private message! I have one spot available in an extremely popular apartment complex right across the street from campus.

Does anyone know if the documents have to be received on June 30, or sent in by that time? I’m hoping to fax prior to that point, but I’m worried it wouldn’t show up online that they have gotten them in time.

thanks chaly, i’ll be looking forward to any type of status update, haha.

AMorrison, my SGR says that they have to be received by the 30th, but if your school hasn’t given you your grades yet i’d call admissions and tell them and hope that they say that a few days later will be fine.

Thank you! I’m hoping to fax the grade cards by this weekend, so fingers crosse it won’t be an issue!

thinking about joining a fraternity once i’m at usc. anyone familiar with the greek life down there? besides partying 247, will it actually benefit me for my future?

okay, my fin. aid updated…it says that they have and reviewed my moms and my tax returns but i need to submit my FAFSA and CSS/PROFILE…?

i submitted my FAFSA almost 2 months ago and i submitted on CSS last friday.

ahh was i supposed to fax something for those?!?

Did you submit it electronically? You should call them.

yep, on the FAFSA website and on the Profile website.

oh okay, i’m always delighted to call, it gives me an excuse to ask about my app ;)

btw, for awards, are the deadlines for those past?

i feel so stupid for not knowing how to do any of this!

grindallday, fraternities/sororities do benefit your education. you’re adding volunteer work and leadership activities to your resume. it shows you can handle the hard work of college while also handling a life on the side. so yeah, i’d assume if you further your education into grad, medical, dental, pharmacy, or law schools, you’ll be more competitive.

boo no decision yet, but they have my FAFSA and CSS. that’s a relief!

Submitted my enrollment deposit today. USC!!!

Thanks everyone for all your input and advice. I can finally but this site to rest till grad school. See you guys at USC! Good luck to those still waiting!

Hey guys, I was just wondering if my summer grades at a community college will be weighted along with my university GPA when I apply for transfer to USC?

Thanks in advance! I am really worried I am going to receive a B in macroeconomics =/ I received a 4.0 last quarter and hope this class won’t drag me down.

Congrats grindall!!!

Hello all! I’ve visited many times but this is my first time posting because I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I realllly reallllly want to go to USC. And if I get accepted I get a free ride which would really help out my family financially. Here’s my problem:
I’ve already made deposits and set up orientation for my back up school. It’s just a cal state so it’s not too much to worry about. I have all these opportunities there as I have some networks already mentioned to me.
But now, I am a transfer applicant who’s been waiting forever for something in the mail. I got no SGR or anything so I called on June 11th and they said my decision was actually still pending and that I should wait until next week. Then, after I woke up this morning, my admission counselor left me a message to call her back. I called her back and she asked me if I was interested in any other majors, to look around the website, and then call her back.

So basically, I don’t know if they want me in but just can’t get me into Annenberg (1st choice) or Marshall (2nd choice). I don’t want to get hopeful but it sounds like she wants me to go into CLAS. I’d really love to go to USC but I don’t know about the other majors? I want to be at USC without a doubt, it’s just that I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if i’m making sense, i’m so nervous after that call. Can anyone with advice help me??

tareeesa: I got accepted for my second major: international relations/global business since i didn’t get into Marshall for Intl. business. It sounds like you should look around the majors in CLAS and decide if there is anything that interests you there too. If there is, then call your advisor and let him know as soon as possible.

Take a look under College of Letters, Arts and Sciences and see if something calls your attention.
Best of luck!!!

here’s another question:
if i tried to transfer to annenberg or marshall once i got in, would it be an easy process?

and thanks chaly87, I’m looking at the website right now. I’m so nervous!!
