<p>Don’t worry about not getting an update–it means nothing. The only update of significance is the “committee is reviewing…” one. Nothing else up to that point matters. </p>
<p>Once you have that update, if it changes within a few days to “the committee has acted upon…” status, then you are most likely in. If it stays on the “reviewing” one for a longer period of time, then things aren’t looking so hot.</p>

<p>@hippo50 Really? Cuz, my status has been like that for months. 
The only “updates” I received were just e-mails asking me to send in documents. Ever since then, it has been pretty been quiet (other than me going nuts).</p>
<p>relax people, he means that if your status reads “THE COMMITTEE IS REVIEWING YOUR APPLICATION…” for more than a few days toa week or so that it is most likely a denial. I highly doubt anyone has had the the “comittee” update at all yet (except the 3 whove been accepted already) let alone for months.</p>
<p>Oh whoops! Never mind. I thought the whole “We have received your application…” status meant trouble. Ahh this whole process seriously has messed with my head.</p>

<p>Just relax. Theres nothing you can do to affect anything except for what you do this last semester. The only thing you have any control over is your grades. You dont know where you are in their eyes, just focus on your schooling cuz that could be the tipping point. by freaking out nonstop about it will only make it worse for you and screw with you and your grades probably cuz youre so stressed over it all.</p>
<p>Dont get me wrong, I too am stressed, worried, checking everyday, etc, but im trying to focus on school and not worry about it cuz it wont come until after may 2nd probably. It will happen when its time. nobody else here is getting anything as far as status updates or acceptances/denials. Now is not the time to freak out about it yet.</p>

<p>i submitted my application on deadline and the status was " we have received and currently reviewing your application…" since then. I started checking my status everyday since last week and yesterday was the only day i didn’t check it which i got my status updated. -.-</p>
<p>anyone know how long it takes for them to update status when they needed more information from you such as an additional transcript?</p>
