<p>does the admissions office update statuses at a certain time of the day or are they random throughout the day?</p>
<p>Typically it happens randomly throughout the day. There were even a few cases last year and the previous year, where it would be updated in the middle of the night or early morning.</p>
<p>oh ok, I was thinking that if its just once in the morning then its not a big deal to check it every 10 seconds haha.</p>
<p>I’ve stopped checking as much. Since there are so many CCers who received the last update before me, I assume you guys will get the next update before me too. Once you all go crazy with the new update then I’ll be clicking the status link like it’s going out of fashion.</p>

<p>what happens if it is June 1, you still do not know if USC will accept you or not so you send a SIR to a UC and then USC sends you an acceptance letter? Don’t you pay like $100 dollars with the SIR?</p>
<p>So USC was still missing my high school transcript and the email I got from the office of admissions says, “We are getting closer to our decision date and upon review of your application, we noticed we are still missing the following documents: …”</p>
<p>I called and was told decisions generally start coming out before June 1st. Just an update.</p>

<p>I know we’re not going to be freshman, but it’s still pretty cool looking at USC from the perspective of students. Every time I watch the video, just makes me want to attend USC even more. Btw, in my opinion, the best part of the vid is near the end. It starts around 11:05 minute mark.</p>
