<p>It says they sent me the notice of the decision but i cant <strong><em>kin wait till i get the mail which i might get it on monday.
I applied for electrical engineering Viterbi.
my gpa is 3.82 and units completed are 44 and will have 62.5 completed before the end of this semester. I go to a socal cc and I have all As except for Calc2 i got a B, which bothers me like *</em></strong>. i got another B in sociology which is not a major prep.
My essay was ok, 5~6yrs of work experience from a semiconductor trading company, 2yrs of SAT 1&2 instructor and an internship at a bakery factory in maintenance department.
THe problem is that I was preparing for UCB, and I dont have many major requirements finished. Before the end of this semester Ill have physics 152 done and half of 153. For math Im finishing up calc 3 this semester.
This is bad because I read replies from this thread who got admitted finished most of the major requirements. What do you guys think?
FYI i didnt even know that there was a supplement for Viterbi and didnt turn in Part 1
Why doesnt USC just post up the decisions online?
This is driving me CRAZY when I know the decisions are done but have to just wait to see it</p>

<p>yeah like AMorisson said, everyone gets the Acted on status, just when you get it matters. Basically anything now until the last few days in may=100% for sure acceptance. anything after like May 27 or so is 50/50.
unless you get a SGR then you won’t know until later</p>

<p>Like people have said on here, the changing to the committee has acted status at this point in the game is a very good indication. It’s pretty much 99.99% you’re in. So far everyone who has had that status change has gotten in. The odds are in your favor. Don’t worry and Congrats.</p>

<p>yeah it will tell you that you got a spring grade request (SGR) and you will get stuff in the mail about it</p>

<p>if you get a SGR your status on USConnect will read:</p>
<p>“We have requested your spring term grades. We mailed you specific instructions on how to submit your grades for expedited processing. We hope to receive the grades before June 30. We expect you will be notified of our final decision by mid-July”</p>

<p>@freakenh- Welcome, buddy. Everyones just on nerves because the process has been going on for over a year now for some of us and its finally coming to fruition. Everyone’s just doubting what they have accomplished and submitted so everyones a bit insecure until they get the acceptance letter in the mail. We’re all in this together.</p>
<p>@dbroncos- The USC song girls arent THAT hot dude, I have to be honest. I was at the associate’s brunch for the home opener last year, where they line the sidewalk of the brunch along with the band and perform to conquest, fight on, tribute to troy etc… and I was honestly not that impressed with the talent of those girls. </p>

<p>To anyone who has stuff they are still debating to turn in such as transcripts for a previous quarter, I would suggest you turn it in as it is not too late. I recently faxed in my transcript to show my course in progress to prove that I am attending my first semester at a community college outside of my university, I faxed it in on Friday and my status changed this morning (saturday) to:</p>
<p>“We are reviewing your application. Sometimes we require additional information, so be sure to respond to any requests promptly. Transfer applicants are notified of their admission, or of a request for more information by June 1.”</p>
<p>Instead of the one that asks we have received your app and we require additional information, turn in the requested document listed (something along those lines)</p>
<p>So anyone who is still debating, it’s not too late!</p>
<p>I wonder if they keep tabs on how many times people check their statuses. And whether more checks gets you some sort of merit. Like, who wants it the most. Or if it’s like to weed out the compulsive, crazy people (me included) who check their statuses incessantly…</p>
