They do. There have been cases of status changing in the middle of night. They tend to send out their acceptance packages on Friday though.

I’m down there a lot yea. How does it go from Madison Park to the CD so quick haha, Garfield just a minute away, kinda like USC super hood but a good school.

Vieterbi, you are gonna know pretty soon, eh? Lucky, nope I transferred from University of Washington to University of Rochester now hopefully to USC haha. I’m on the 3 year 3 college tour

anyone know the average GPA for transfer annenberg public relation?! and also does cali CCC have advantage over OOS students?

I think it was a 3.6? I’m not to sure about that. I know however, that USC does not place advantage on CCC over OOS. It’s a private school, therefore it abides by its own rules.

It’s safe to assume that the on campus housing will be gone, right? Heard there are streets that essentially all students live on, so it’s like campus you can meet people, chill etc and relatively safe close too, if not right off campus. Grab an Apt there or something

Admissions

35,753 students applied for admission to the undergraduate class of 2013, with 8,724 being admitted (24%) and 2,869 enrolling (33% yield). Among admitted students, the interquartile range for SAT composite scores was 1990 – 2210 and the average unweighted GPA was 3.8.

It says 3.8 for entering freshmens, i would think average transfer gpa would be about the same.

however, i’m sure this year, it would hover around 3.85 and above, looking at the vast number of applicants this year.

Then again, USC weighs a great part of the admission process on your personal statement and character.

Don’t worry! If you are meant to be a trojan, they will want you.

@mememeusc-- Seriously! Same with Madronna and Leschi. SUCH nice areas but you drive three blocks away and you’re on Cherry and 23rd aka shooting central, haha. It’s the same thing as where I grew up. I lived in the Southend right next to Lake Washington. All the homes in my neighborhood (minus mine) were 1-3 million/ each, but you would drive towards Rainier Ave and BAM sketchy. Gotta love Seattle.

@ OOSstudent-- Nice! I just graduated from there. I wonder if we ever had any of the same classes or profs. Which classes are you taking this quarter?

@goldfinch- Yea, I applied for housing already. Not sure what will come of it, but after freshmen and some select returning students, transfers actually have higher priority than like a bunch of others. who knows. its a crap shoot. I hope I can get on campus. If not, I’m brangin mah red to Watts…you know, If you BLOOD throw it up.

@zpaintballer-lol, have you not read this thread at all recently? a majority of viterbi has their acceptances and a CLAS was accepted like today. Im guessing theyre sending out a ton the next week.
