I still wonder about the phone call. Maybe she meant that she got a call and someone told her that she got into USC?</p>

<p>I think trojanhopeful1 was the one who said:</p>

<p>I believe there was a user last year or the year before who did not have a second choice major listed. Admissions was unable to offer him admission to the major that he applied to, but they called him and offered him another major because they felt he would be a excellent addition the the University. I forget who it was."</p>

<p>There was another post about calling, but I would guess that candidate would have to be extremely qualified for USC to call. I just find it rare.</p>

<p>Whoa!! I have been checking my status all day, which is still on the ‘We are reviewing your application’ and then within the last minute, I see a “Mid-Year Grade Report” box on my Admissions tab.</p>

<p>I remember someone here had this box as well … I’m going to have to read through the pages again. But finally something new appears!!!</p>

<p>edit: Ok so I clicked on it and it shows my grades that I entered for the classes I took as a senior in High School.</p>

<p>@dbroncos - I think it’s possible (and I believe I remember this from '09) that they call when they want to offer the second choice major to the person and it is clear that they are accepted because they won’t bother looking at the second choice major for you if they are going to reject you. Does that make sense?</p>
