<p>I talked to the people at Gateway and they are currently offering $899/month for full-year leases on 2nd floor apts, but they don’t offer the free month with that special. The price goes up $10/month per floor.</p>

<p>@ballamalla1 - No they do not. From what I know, no business undergraduate program accepts transfers in Spring.</p>
<p>So in reality the $899 month is only about a $40 a month discount from the regular price. It’s something, though.</p>

<p>It is at least 8, because I know you can park on the same level as your apartment up to the 8th floor.</p>
<p>I asked if there was something “wrong” with the 2nd floor (which sounded like a very dumb question even as I asked it…) but they said people just liked the higher floors better.</p>

<p>So if I receieved SGR forget Marshall?</p>
<p>I think I officially have no choice but to give up hope.</p>
<p>My status was changed to forwarded for committee review on Saturday. That was when I started really, really panicking and emailed SCA giving them an update.</p>
<p>I told them what else I’ve been doing for my job as an assistant producer since I submitted my application. </p>
<p>The reply: "We have already completed the review process for transfer applications; therefore, we are not able to add this information to your file.</p>
<p>You should receive an admission decision within the next week or two."</p>
<p>My status is still on “forwarded for committee review” so I think we all know what that means. I’m still praying that by some miracle, a magical fairy will convince SCA to accept me or something along those lines. I’ve been dreaming about USC and SCA almost every night, when I finally fall asleep after hours of refreshing my status.</p>

<p>I would want to live on the second floor anyway, I’m scared of elevators. but there’s study rooms on every floor, and double-paned glass so you can’t hear traffic or basically anything from outside. the only downside to gateway is that the rooms are pretty small… but they have big closets and a pretty big bathroom, plus they come fully furnished with some nice stuff.</p>
<p>Boy, I haven’t visited these forums since I received my SGR. I guess I was quite disappointed at the time but looks like I’ll visiting quite often again. :D</p>

<p>As a random side note, I WAS accepted to Marshall, but the backdoor method does NOT work for me… not saying its not generally a good indicator but I checked it Monday night and it said that the user isn’t authorized even though I got the acceptance package this afternoon. Good luck to all</p>
<p>madeforusc, that means absolutely nothing. From what we’ve been told, SCA doesn’t do the status updates itself. The general admissions office does. They’ve probably fallen behind this week. Relax</p>
