<p>rhandler33, it’ll probably show up under OASIS or USConnect before you get the letter. For when I got my financial aid information online, I was acted on 4/30 and had financial aid information posted on 5/14. I think that for some people it can take an extra week or two.</p>

<p>@deborahmei- I think there are chances that your status won’t update but you will still get the package, just they didnt update your status at all, keep hope</p>
<p>@kielyy the backdoor method only works after USC has released in it’s automated enrollment box system of all the students they have just recently acted upon. For instance, the backdoor method only worked for me after it reached 12:03 AM on Sunday meaning (Monday morning) and prior to that when I was acted on Saturday it had not worked all day on Saturday or Sunday, but once it hit Monday morning, the enrollment box opened up. This was proven true for previous people who’ve tried it on CC on the same Monday morning for the backdoor method to work. </p>
<p>However, it’s memorial day weekend and near the deadline so I don’t know how they’re going to release the enrollment box to open up in their automated system, but don’t be worried if you cannot get in because it IS automated to be released by a given date and time and not as they input the acceptances. I don’t know if it’ll be this Monday morning because of the long weekend or if it’ll be on another date in the following week but it will be released by a whole wave of students.</p>
<p>My guess is that it’s easier to monitor the procedures following the enrollment box such as USC student e-mails and signing up for orientation as those are activated and become available 24-48 hours after submitting your enrollment, so they need to be monitored accordingly to when the enrollment is released to make it easier on the following procedures and keeping track of the data of students.</p>

<p>It doesn’t really matter what his particular decision is. You can’t make a blanket statement like that. A quick search of last year’s thread showed someone accepted who was “acted on” May 29. There’s obviously going to be at least some acceptances.</p>

I’ll just say I talked to someone familiar with the application process, and they essentially confirmed that, anyone who has had “forwarded to” for more than “3 days” and received the “acted upon” today, is officially rejected. Don’t believe it if you don’t want to. I could care less, just relaying information.</p>
