USC 2010 Transfer Thread

Glad it worked out for you. USC is pretty good about that sort of thing, apparently.

happydk, “You must also request that a final official transcript be sent from your school directly to USC upon graduation or completion of the current semester.
Have all transcripts sent to:
University of Southern California
Office of Admission
UNDERGRADUATE
Los Angeles, CA 90089-0911”
It’s from the orientation homework. They don’t give a date.

so are they accepting SGR’s? what is the trend? do they accept SGR ppl?

i will be sending my transcripts in on June 23rd.

@ Sera
Done two weeks ago. Thank you though :D

Oh, wow. I blame just waking up, that should have been addressed to rhandler33.

i just checked my admissions status and it indicates that, “We are unable…” What does that mean? I’m LOST :(

Multiple other people have gotten that, even ones who were already changed to acted on earlier. Relax. USC’s system must be conducting a psychological research experiment to observe the effects of panicing applicants.

My admission status still says it’s under review.

My PO Box is 20 miles away. Is it safe to assume they most likely haven’t made a decision yet so driving outta my way to my PO Box would be a waste of time?

Yes, it’s unlikely. I’d probably email an admissions conselor (https://camel2.usc.edu/admceebsearch/ugappfindcounselor.aspx</a>) or call them for an update. I assume by under review you mean it hasn’t been forwarded yet, not that it’s been forwarded and is presumably under committee review.

@mxbile131

really? I just saw Colorado joined the Pac-10, though I did hear they could get somewhere in the area of 6 teams to join. Big conference shake-ups. On the other hand Oregon is pretty much done without Masoli. It reminds me about 3 years back when they were top 5 and then Dixon went down and pretty much spiraled after that.

The NCAA is incompetent.

@jazzshreddermom I tried the link and put in my USconnect login details and it doesn’t work.

What does that mean?

Haven’t got my letter or anything yet but I am on acted on

It doesn’t mean anything. For some people, it doesn’t work until a week after they get their acceptance package.

My link was having issues. If your Enrollment Deposit Box doesn’t show up after getting the package, give them a call. The rep I spoke with added it on the spot.

@Serapher, that’s what i thought/was hoping. Thanks!

FIGHT ON!

Just called and admissions counselor told me I’ve been rejected. Decided that I am not going to music school period haha. Going to go out into the big wide world and try my luck as a musician/producer. Thanks to everyone for the help. I already have an undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance, so its the right thing to do. BTW type my username into youtube to check me out =)

Thanks

**** you NCAA!

playthemdrums, can you please give me your USC admission counselor please? coz i wanna know my admission status too…

If you’re applying to CLAS, definitely go with https://camel2.usc.edu/admceebsearch/ugappfindcounselor.aspx</a> to find a counselor. If you’re applying to a specialty school, you can contact your counselor from that page or a general counselor from the sub-school.

Why must CC remove my edit button?

playthemdrums, I wish you luck. I didn’t want to say anything until I looked at your channel. I know zero about drumming but I enjoyed the videos.

EDIT: Really like the different mixing as a result of your recording the different parts yourself.
