<p>@JohnUSC310 We register on the day of our orientation. Academic advising is actually pretty helpful! I came in yesterday because Annenberg called me up to set up a one-on-one appointment with them (even before my orientation which is on the 23rd) to help figure out my classes for my first semester in USC. I’m trying to make at least 2-3 more back up schedules just in case i don’t get the classes I want in the first place. Also, they said that they reserve some spaces for transfers to register in during orientation. Well, that’s at least for Annenberg. I don’t know about others. </p>
<p>I checked the classes and all the classes I want to take for categories 4 and 6 are already full! =/ My adviser told me they might open up more spaces (for GEs) depending on the number of people that still want to register. (I’m not too sure about that…)</p>
<p>Yeah see, it takes a while for some people even when admitted. You were Marshall right? Make sure to friend me on fb so I can make sure we all get to meet during the Business major walking tour on the 23rd.</p>
<p>OH SH-IT!!! Just logged into the address to commit an enrollment deposit, thought I’d try it out. I have my info filled out!!! Don’t know which major though, either Marshall or CLASS - Econ. But my info is all there.</p>

<p>But it doesn’t appear that way since Bus Admin was my 1st choice, so obviously they got my app first. I want to call them soon after I get the letter asking them if I intend on going to Leventhal, they would reconsider.</p>
<p>@Bud - Congrats! Hope you did get into business. Does it show a spring admit deposit deadline? I wonder if you can try to switch it at orientation.</p>

<p>I really wanted to cross over to Leventhal, I hope that if I make an appeal to include this intention, they will reconsider me for Marshall.</p>
<p>Perhaps if I pay the per unit tuition cost, out of pocket, just for that one accounting course during the fall term, they’ll let me into Leventhal. I can’t even call them right now since I wasn’t even supposed to log-in to find out in the first place.</p>

<p>@budlightyear - Yeah, wait for the package. When I called right away they were rude and actually hung up on me when they noticed I paid the deposit already.</p>
<p>I’m still waiting for my financial aid. Could be because I haven’t turned in my final transcripts yet? I’m barely doing it today and I got admitted like three weeks ago!</p>

<p>With CLAS, you don’t get an appointment prior to orientation, based on my experience. For Biological Sciences, an advisor looked at our transcripts during lunch and then told us their recommendations. You can then ask questions. They’ll be in the same room during registration if anything pops into your mind. They were really friendly.</p>
<p>We have to send in final transcripts even though we were SGR admits? I’m taking summer classes and I thought I’d just send in another one the first week of August.</p>
<p>Everyone needs to send in final transcripts. I think the fact I didn’t get mine in sooner might be the reason it took so long for me to get a decision. I’d call them ask them directly brianlee.</p>
