<p>Backdoor method works for me today and it also says Spring commitment…</p>
<p>I called USC and the lady I spoke to told me the application was in the final stages of the decision making and no full decision had been made, but they could tell me in a few days…</p>
<p>So hopefully we can still be bumped up to Fall semester… </p>
<p>P.s. I’m a Marshall applicant and didn’t select a 2nd choice major, so I’m assuming I’d either be Marshall or undecided.</p>
<p>@USC10 - It takes roughly 7 days for them to process the deposit before you can make a reservation for the orientation. I’d call orientation directly and ask them about this since you might not be able to reserve a spot before the deadline of the 16th.</p>
<p>GRRRRRR i faxed in my transcripts over a month ago and still nothing. They told me 5-10 days until a decision 2 weeks ago backdoor login still doesn’t work. Hopefully I get admitted, then have a enough time to get a decent place to live. I thought we were supposed to hear in mid June, not mid JULY?</p>
<p>@bharpur - SGR transfers can hear back as late as mid-July. In my case it took 6 weeks for them to give me a decision after they got my transcript even though they also told me “hopefully within the next couple weeks” etc.</p>
<p>It’s now the 13th, when does mid-july end? I’m out of town for a week starting sunday, never thought I’d have to wait this long. Will my application status change to “decision made” from “Your application has been forwarded for committee review” when a decision is made?</p>
<p>If it works properly, it’ll say something like “The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision”. A lot of times now it doesn’t seem to be updating.</p>

<p>I’m not sure if your question regarding Meal Plans was ever answered since it is a few pages back. I’ve been recommended to getting the community 50 plan. That will give me a break every now and then from cooking. It gives you 50 swipes and $100 dining dollars. The calendar says that there are 72 instructional days for the first semester. 50 swipes/$100 dining dollars should be perfect for that. Otherwise, you could opt for the community 25 plan [50 swipes/$50 dining dollars].</p>
<p>ok out of the blue here but IS ANYONE LOOKING FOR A ROOMMATE/ KNOW HOW I CAN GET HOUSING?? I turned in my housing app a couple of weeks ago but have yet to hear anything…I was on the waitlist at georgetown and was holding out for them but things have happened and now my heart is set on being a trojan! Now I have to figure out this housing situation is anyone else this late in the game?</p>
<p>Same thing here cbradshaw, I turned in the housing app 2-3 weeks ago and have yet to hear back. Apparently USC housing is full… which means I better get my $45 dollars back! </p>
<p>And it is my understanding after reading the “Welcome to USC” booklet that if you receive your transfer credit report, you do not need to send in any final transcripts. I think USC set up that protocol for students who were not accepted through SGR. I’m sure at this moment, spring grades are the most recent and final grades for everyone, therefore sending in another transcript of your grades would be redundant. I guess it would apply to SGR applicants who did not send in official transcripts though. </p>
