<p>@snizzle: Yeah! I have a vivid image of USC in my head. I see red brick, with white Romanesque arches and accents that boldly contrast with the red. It’s the clearest image of USC I have. Going on Monday though…will refresh my memory and I will be sure to take pictures.</p>
<p>@H0n3ytea: I have no idea, but I will tell you that screenwriting is the same way. I do not know how many people apply for screenwriting (most people applying to SCA go for production) but there are 24-27 spots for the entire undergraduate class. My acceptance rate will be around 5%…it’s easier to get into Harvard Law. I just keep telling myself that I wrote unique samples and that I will stand out. If you tell yourself the same thing, it will help you too.</p>

I don’t know anyone else who applied to sppd… and yeah i heard that it’s pretty competitive but I think that’s a positive thing because to be in the careers that sppd prepares you for you need to be really passionate about it. I had a 3.8 this past semester but my high school grades weren’t too good. GPA’s are all over the place for people who are accepted though so I think essay’s and short answer questions really play a large role as well. Good luck!</p>
<p>…for any of you that will be going to visit USC, make sure to go check out the SCA building. It’s the nicest building I’ve ever seen at any school.</p>

<p>honestly the first time i saw it, i was speechless. its so amazing. especially once you go inside and you see the “Trojan Family Room” with the huge marble fireplace, dual staircases, and high ceiling. its something else. thats where the admissions office is.</p>
<p>@snizzle: I’m going to tour the SCA specifically on monday. I am so excited…it’s kept my mind off the big wait by having something else to wait for that’s closer.</p>
<p>And yes, the Ronald Tutor Campus Center is BEAUTIFUL. All of USC is beautiful to me. I gravitate towards fountains and we only have one at my CC and it’s indoors and it sucks.</p>

<p>Oh ok…I don’t know, but I thought they were on spring break…could be wrong though.</p>
<p>If they are, then I get the campus to myself <3 And I can run around in pure happiness and sing</p>
<p>Yeah, they’re on spring break then. I think they still have the tours though, since quite a few people will probably stay on campus ;)</p>
<p>And yes sydneyral, I was like that too. Gave me something to look forward to in the short run! You will really enjoy it. I took a tour at UC Berkeley, and the USC tour is much, much more organized and longer. Quick word of advice; get there early to find parking and walk over to the admissions office! :)</p>
<p>I plan on getting there an hour early, not only to find a spot but to look in the student store, and grab a drink, and take some pictures. The SCA tour starts at this statue in the quad. Hopefully it’s a nice day :)</p>

I’m sitting here thinking about my USC app and these people are losing family members and houses. Pray for them!</p>
<p>sup guys! i’m a 2010 fall transfer admit from last year and I just wanted to poke my head into this forum (I haven’t been on college confidential forever haha) and say good luck to all you guys! Keep your hopes up and your fingers crossed!</p>
<p>btw feel free to ask any questions if you guys have any and i’ll try to answer them as soon as i can! (i’m supposed to be doing an essay right now that’s due at 4pm LOL woot!)</p>
<p>snizzle77, I’m from japan and although my family doesn’t live there anymore, so many of my friends still do, including my best friend and her family, and I’m really worried about them. The phone line doesn’t work and the only way to contact them is through facebook and other SNS… I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the damage will not expand any more…</p>
<p>There are reports of folks trying to get to internet cafes to reassure loved ones that they are OK. Please be patient and keep your prayers and good wishes to the people of Japan. There are widespread problems with communication, but as you say, fortunately, the internet appears to be working in areas.</p>
