<p>I managed to confirm most of my friends’ and their families’ safety but one of my friends’ parents’ house could have been swept away by tsunami according to the news… She hasn’t been able to contact her family yet and don’t know where they are… I can’t imagine how devastated she is right now and all I can do is just pray that they are fine…</p>
<p>It seems like the dead and the missing are confirmed to be more than 1600 already. It’s true that usually the Japanese are well-prepared for earthquakes and they also have the strictest building codes in the world, but this one was just too destructive… I mean 1600… it’s just unbelievable.</p>
<p>Thanks for posting the donation information. I’ll do everything that I can to help out the locals in any possible way. Let’s send our prayers to Japan…</p>

<p>@ZjgarTurtle I didn’t get an acceptance yet still waiting I just wanted to put myself under the architecture tab to see if any others in architecture have heard of anything yet, but hopefully soon I can then truly accept that congrats. How about you what is your situation so far, and I am a transfer student.</p>

I<code>m debating between going to USC for architecture or University of Oregon, I was accepted there. It</code>s nice seeing another architecture transfer, seems like many of them are business majors lol.</p>

Thanks for replying me! oh jeez… your gpa is so high… mines is only a 3.48 with honors tho… I’m worried about one thing… I didn’t do macroecon and stats…the writing and math prereq I did but microecon I’m gonna take for spring quarter… do you think that will affect the decision!!! eeeeee I’m not sure how good my essay is… but I gave it to one of the counselors at my CC to look at and she use to work at cal poly’s admission and she said my essay was touching… I don’t know if she’s just saying that to make me feel better . LOL. But I want to get in so badly!!! My first choice is SPPD and second is IR… sighhhh when will I know my decision!!! Jeebus!!!</p>

<p>@AF1990 … its driving me insane! they updated my documents section with everything but on my application it still says “It appears we are missing some information…” … i guess we can’t expect them to update it until they’re done with freshman applications</p>

<p>Thanks snizzle! I know I’m totally worthy of being a trojan, I’m a hard worker and very motivated, but I just don’t know. Im trying to stay positive, but sometimes things just get me down. The student life there is great, but I just don’t feel like I deserve to go there even though I’ve worked really hard. I mean, I’m going to be in the same classes as students with credentials that fully surpass mine…I just don’t know. Maybe doubt is setting in…:-/</p>
<p>@MDG099 - Don’t worry and don’t doubt yourself. I know there are plenty kids that are just like you. USC is more diverse than you think. I feel that USC has a place for everyone whether it be fraternities or involvement groups. USC has a huge population.</p>
