USC Admissions Interview

Sooo, I submitted my application to USC and it is essentially my dream college, but it is a reach… at least I think it is.

I got a 1900 on my SAT
A 640 on the SAT US history exam
A 720 on the SAT Bio exam
I am the president of Indian unity club
VP of FBLA
I was class secretary my junior year
I am an IB diploma candidate
I have been in earth club since my freshman year
I am on a bhangra team and I choreograph bhangra (if you don’t know what it is look it up on youtube its super coolio )
Im planning on doing premed

So my question is, if I go to an interview will it improve my chances of getting in? What is the purpose of admission interviews?

Thanks!

You might get more insight if you post on the USC forum. Usually schools indicate on their website somewhere whether interviews contribute to the admission decision or if they are really to help you determine if you are a match for a school.
