hope to see you guys 2morrow at the orientation!

My financial aid award says no information available, but when I check the documents status, it says everything was received already. This is frustrating.

i know how you feel trojans14

Ok so I always said the tuition is never a concern on my mind. I looked at the tuition for the semester and it stated 19390, I about died. It is still all worth it, but it just clicked, I HAVE TO ACTUALLY PAY THAT.

Good ol’ SC, how i love thee.

DJS3CA- Are you sure that’s not for the whole year?

That’s without any finaid. About 1211$ per unit is about right. I should be getting some finaid, not much, but some.

I will be taking a large portion of the bill in loans. On top of it I want to go to law school.

i was wondering, can i use my financial aid grants (in particular university grants) to pay for off campus non USC housing? at this current moment, i have no housing and i need the USC grants to pay for it

Is there any housing in conquest whatsoever???

as of now, DJS3CA, none right now…

dorky24- No. That financial aid is for university owned housing only. I think most universities work that way but I’m not completely sure.

I was pretty surprised at the fact that the Cal Grant didn’t help to cover anything since that means I’ll take loans out, but oh well. I think I’m still getting a pretty good deal. If you plan ahead and research your lenders well, even the loans should be pretty manageable.

Overall, I’m just glad I am finally a Trojan. :)

I LOVE OUR SCHOOL!!!

BTW Snarekick were you at orientation today?

oh really? dang…probably means i’m gonna have to commute from home…

just got accepted for spring 09 yesterday!

congrats london says!!!

neways, i was at orientation yesterday and found that i was the only gerontology major present!!! was soooooo awkward…

And there were 160+ business majors rofl

Geez, I guess that means the July 1st orientation was the largest one.

Apparently there were 600 + people at the July 25th orientation

Really? Bc Marshall is always one of the larger groups. (Other than CLAS, of course)

Yup, I was at the IR table, wearing a green polo.

160 Business students are just insane! I tried registering for a Business class, but all of em were gone lol.

@sunkissed

I am in the same position as you.
I can not make my decision until I see my financial aid package.
I wasn’t able to attend the orientation and I’m pretty sad about it since well, I thought I should have been able to go to complete my transfer experience.
Did you complete your financial aid documents on time?

Anybody else in the same situation?
I wonder what classes are going to be left for us
