<p>I’ve heard that USC’s surrounding area is run down and dangerous–true or false? I really like this school so any info/advice will be much appreciated!</p>

<p>the surrounding area is not as bad as everyone makes it sound. its not ghetto or anything, its just downtown LA… tall buildings close by, staples center… etc. trust me, i live 20 minutes away and i just stopped by yesturday. it shouldnt be dangerous at all unless you go outside at midnight with an mp3 player…</p>
