<p>This is for anyone applying or already in the 8 year BMD program at USC. The long essays give a maximum of 2 pages, but is that double-spaced and in what font size or do they not really care? Is there word limit to aim for? </p>

<p>I just pulled up my essays–yes, it’s double spaced, and I’d assume 12 point in Times New Roman. If you’re trying to find ways to finagle little bits of room here and there, they’re going to notice it and that usually doesn’t reflect positively on your application.</p>
<p>mine are 1.5 spaced… they were double spaced and fit on two pages… i just felt more comfortable 1.5 spaced argh… </p>

<p>Yes, you have to pay for your own airfare. It’s definitely worth it, though. The interview day alone is great.</p>
