What is the difference between “Chemical Engineering (Polymers/Materials)” and “Chemical Engineering (Nanotechnology)”. Are they both Materials Science? This is very confusing.

“Chemical Engineering (Nanotechnology)” focuses on the molecular level, and “Chemical Engineering (Polymers/Materials)” is more traditional material science. Both majors are indeed similar and only differ by 4 - 5 required courses. Chem E. Dept. also offers minor in Materials Sciense.

So USC does not offer Materials Engineering?
