USC Cinema Alumnus Wins Grand Jury Prize at Sundance

<p>The film, “Fruitvale”, has won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. It also won the Audience Award. Ryan Coogler, a recent graduate from the Class of 2011, wrote and directed the prize winning film. The Grand Jury Prize is the top award at Sundance.</p>

<p>Featured in the film are eight other alumni from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.</p>

<p>Three other films from SCA alumni also won awards.</p>
