I suggest using this to determine when you will recieve your acceptances. For those living in the LA area, it takes only 1 day (priority mail) to recieve your package. Being that it was sent today, there’s a high chance it will arrive tomorrow.

For those freaking about the appeal thing, don’t worry

  • I got accepted in the scholarship round and it still shows up for me

Just think guys, in less than 24 hours for some of us, this decision will be in the past.

I guess I should receive it tomorrow, am I on the lookout for a white envelop or yellow for acceptance to fall 2016?

@jerseycali We believe it is a white box for Fall admit and yellow for Spring admit. If it’s the same color for both, it will be white nonetheless.

I have the appeal decision thing as well. I already know I’ll get denied, but oh well. I got a few UC’s to choose from

@mc1682 what are your stats? You never know!

Damn of course San Diego takes 2 days.

They posted a picture of them stuffing bright yellow envelopes with crimson folders with the USC seal on it.

If we don’t get the mail within three days, we’ll at least get our decision online by the 26th (according to: http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/ )

@dirtydonut I had a 3.8 UW at the time I applied, but I did really badly senior year (I was stupid enough to take extremely hard ap courses) and got 2 weighted C’s, so I have about a 3.7 UW now. I have a 33 ACT. Good essays and good ECs. Really good interview. But because of my GPA and senior grades, a rejection is guaranteed.

everyone should have the “appeal of admission decision” in their document library. It doesn’t mean anything. This was in the document library ever since I first had access to the portal. Hope this helps!

Will all the envelopes be the same size?

We live in Alexandria. I think we’ll get our letters Friday or maybe Saturday at the latest.

the rejection letters will be smaller

That’s Alexandria, Virginia - a suburb of DC.

Y’all I’m too nervous, those stats on the blog post killed any hope I had of getting in

How do majors work at USC? Are you admitted to the first or second choice major you requested? If you are in engineering, do you have to apply after your first or second year to get into a specific major? Purdue, Virginia Tech, and University of Washington admit you to engineering but then you have to compete after first year to get into your major like biomedical engineering or aerospace - and you may or may not make it. Some schools have direct admit right into your major. Wondering how USC works.

Did everyone’s information about the scholarship process move to message history?
