Will San Diego get their letters/boxes today?
@SC5ive haha yes he will be
SWEEEET can’t wait to hear you’re in and give us some peace
I think if I don’t get into USC, Ill just work at McDonalds for the rest of my life
going home halfway into school to check my mail (I live 45 minutes South of USC)!!!
Agh I’m in Bay Area and probably won’t know until tomorrow.
I read on website stats from this year- it was unbelievably competitive and admit rate down. Fingers crossed for everyone. So, I guess you get a small envelope if it is a denial or spring admit and a big package if it is a yes based on the video on twitter.
A bit harsh… @StomachAcheMommy
wait you get a small envelope for spring admit as well???
I thought you still get a big envelope???
@Belleee Spring admit will get the package like Fall admit. Only rejections get the regular thin envelope.
@Belleee I believe both fall and spring admits get the acceptance packets we saw in the Instagram photos; the only difference is that spring admits get a specific note telling them that they were not accepted for the fall semester.
I live 30-45 min away from USC and my mail comes before 12 so I will let you guys know!
@wendyk0314 good luck
@appletea Is there a way to appeal a spring admission and change it to fall?
@mayamcg thank you
good luck to you too!
Hey guys, wishing you all luck
Since you have to actually do a letter of intent it makes sense that you get a big packet not letter for spring admission.
@stamatious from blog: Regarding spriing admits: congratulations on your admission!! Every year we move a very small number of students from spring to fall. The only way to be considered is to submit your intent to enroll for spring which is not a commitment deposit, rather an indication that you plan to come for spring and want to also be considered for fall. If you have additional questions, I encourage you to reach out to your territory manager!
@stamatious I’m not completely sure how spring admits get moved up to the fall because I’m a senior just like most of the people here, haha. From what I’ve seen/read, USC only switches spring admits into the fall when there’s extra space in the freshman class.
(I’m supposing this would happen when there’s less people enrolled than expected…)
