Great job @superMIC thanks for helping us keep on track and major CONGRATS!!!
@superMIC hey, did you receive a package or was it via email that notified you of your acceptance? and congrats bro!
Has anyone received an acceptance yet from a state other than Cali? If so, please tag me and respond PLEASEEEEEEE
@bostonliving9696 USC is famous for its alumni network. So in that sense for business it might be better because if there is another grad from USC at a company you want to work for, they will take you just because you went to USC
GUYS PLZ POST YOUR LOCATIONS AS WELL THANKSS
Congrats @superMIC
Yeah I’m wondering if any packages will make it to the midwest…
OMG! University of Southern California I Haven’t Heard Yet Class of 2020! Woohoo!
Of course it’s easier to get into colleges if you’re a favored minority (black/hispanic), and it’s harder if you’re a disfavored minority (Asians).
Colleges tilt the scales that way. It’s good for their statistics and their business.
"African Americans received a “bonus” of 230 points [on their SAT scores], Lee says.
She points to the second column.
“Hispanics received a bonus of 185 points.”
The last column draws gasps.
Asian Americans, Lee says, are penalized by 50 points — in other words, they they had to do that much better to win admission."

Anyways, good luck to all.
Hey guys! Do any of the admits know if the netID is the same ten digit number for the application status page?
Congrats to all who got in, well deserved
I’m done can’t deal with these downers uggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
YOU GUYS STOP ARGUING ABOUT AA THIS ISN"T THE THREAD FOR THAT. We’re all busy being stressed about actual admissions, or being excited about getting in for those of us who have gottenin already, so chill and start a thread elsewhere if you really wanna debate it.
Do any of you know the difficulty level of Annenberg compared to some of the other schools like Marshall?
Sorry to bring this up again, but could the people who have been accepted say whether or not their “information about the scholarship process” message has been moved to Message History? Because I could believe that the accepted people get that moved first, and then the rest… ?? I just want that theory debunked if possible.
I applied for Marshall but my stats aren’t stellar, so I’m super nervous because it’s such a popular school. Guess I’ll find out in a few hours…
@Ajdhfh I think we were emailed the Net ID
@calisunset21 Do you mind sharing your stats? I have a friend that applied to Marshall and am curious haha
For those who are accepted, is it possible for you guys to make a MyUSC account yet?
As noted by @bananafofanna , there is a thread devoted to discussion of affirmative action. Go there if you want to discuss that subject. Any further posts about it on this thread will be deleted and the poster penalized.
