D just got in , Biology , gpa 4.35, ACT 33, SoCal but about 2-3 hrs away from USC also got in at UCLA/SD/I/D/SB/R and , Notre Dame.
@iska123 Did she have any extraordinary extra curriculars or brilliant essays? I have the same gpa and 1 point less on the ACT, plus a double legacy and pretty good extra curriculars. But I applied for Business. Hope it works out for me too, and congrats to your daughter!!

@calisunset21 her ECs are not spectacular, no sports, just mostly volunteering and school related , local awards . Iw/ your act 32 and gpa – I’m almost sure you are in!
Is it just me or does anyone else think a surprising amount got in from the socal area? There’s going to be acceptances left for the rest of us right? lol

I knew i was a spring admit the SECOND I saw the box, its a bit of an off yellow.
@bananafofanna 42% of all USC admits this year were from California. SoCal is the most populated part of the state (50% of the state population is in SoCal). Since we’re notified by snail mail, originating from Los Angeles, it follows that the most admits right now would be here.
Mailman came by today in OC – got nothing :l

Pretty much @unusually . Acceptances were sent priority whereas rejections were sent regular (non-priority)
@humanperson were you able to confirm with school where it was shipped. i think mine went to wrong address
