Wow. we are dying here. Live in NJ so don’t think a package would arrive until Saturday, though it could be Friday. If a package doesn’t arrive tomorrow, my daughter won’t know if that’s because she’s getting rejected or it’s just how long the mail takes. Doesn’t seem fair that kids from the East Coast have to wait so long to find out! She applied to SCA for film production, which we knew was a long shot, but she did get an interview so it kind of got her hopes up. This is torture, as it’s her first choice school, obviously…
Oh my gosh I just heard my mail come, but I’m home alone so I can’t decide if I should look now or wait until my mom is here too.
is there any way that packages were delivered in batches yesterday to post office possibly in alphabetical order?

@vermont2016yikes My CommonApp has me listed as a boarding student at my school in New Hampshire - so that is my default mailing address. My home address is listed as the secondary address, which says “permanent address.” So I think it’s safe to assume they mailed my stuff to NH and not Los Angeles.

So, If we live in LA, and don’t get the packet today, we have been rejected, I assume.
So no one got any rejections today right? I only live an hour away from USC in Huntington Beach, so if I didn’t get anything today, I probably didn’t get in. I’m sobbing like an idiot, but congrats to everyone that got in.
@DAVE437 you never know mail is very unpredictable. You’ll know for sure by Saturday when is on the portal

@collegecurious15 @texasgirl584 It doesn’t mean anything. Regardless of if you get in or not, everyone will have a new message posted on the portal at 12pm PST on Friday. Your portal probably just hasn’t updated yet to make room for the decision document
If you live in LA and you didn’t get it today, you may still get it tomorrow. Or the next day. Did everyone forget how snail mail works? It seems 85% of College Confidential has no control over their bodily fluids and/or emotions. Try not to pee yourself or break down crying just yet.

@KELLYYYY @texasgirl584 Yeah I know that everyone will get a letter eventually, but you don’t think it means that the people who got in have it moved to “message history” already? I don’t know much about computers but wouldn’t portals all update around the same time
