Has anyone gotten into the BFA or BA program for dramatic arts? All i have seen today was cinematic arts and kaufman that were related to the arts.

@dannysunz that probably means you were we rejected, but you can’t be 100% sure until you see the portal so don’t give up hope!
Here’s an update for everyone: I believe my theory was incorrect. Poked around the site for a little while, somewhat confident that message status has to do with whether or not you’ve actually bothered to download the pdf directly from the portal. If anyone with the pdf in their current box wants to confirm that would be cool.

@dannysunz It could be a problem with the mail . Don’t stress until you know for sure, but you might be looking at a rejection since you guys live so close.

Coming from someone with a technical background… When you open a message it will normally go into read status, since the portal is not a true messaging system the history portion of messages would indicate that once the original message was opened or downloaded it would automatically file into the message history.
@tomatoes124 No, I think it just means that you haven’t clicked on the link to download the pdf on the portal yet. If you click on it I believe it will move to history

@mayamcg Hopefully but you are probably right. I literally live right next to him haha. Thank you for the inforamation though It at least makes me not wonder if I got in or not.

@throwaway8ehj no, thats not true. I downloaded mine and it still shows currently. Right now, some people think that if its under current messages, that’s a good sign. @tomatoes124

@Huey777 I had a skype interview in February with one of the SCA professors and he did not mention anything about me being a top candidate. Tbh I was even surprised that they were still considering me given my stats. I guess I’m just wondering if I am in the same situation as you.
you guys are insane, analyzing the tiniest details. the decisions have been made and you’ll find out soon enough, just do some homework (lol) or something to distract yourselves
What major did you apply for for SCA? I applied to Film Production and was interviewed too.

@dannysunz people have posted similar situations all day and the consensus has been, probably not good news if on same street etc. But then again, maybe yours got held up or something. If you are in LA though, they have late parcel delivery so that priority mail arrives the next day usually (which would have been today)
