Congrats @Happypeas and @2020uscHopeful on getting accepted! I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time there!
Did any international students receive their mail? I’m from Asia.
Besides a Canada posting, haven’t seen anything. Frankly, internationals tend to get their result on the portal first. Int’l packets are usually sent DHL and arrive after the 3rd or 4th day.
Congrats to those who’ve gotten acceptances so far! Sometimes I wish I applied to places closer to home so I could’ve gotten decisions earlier as well, :D.
Here’s to the massive panic tomorrow. Not literally.
I’ve gotten rejected from UCLA and UC Berkeley and I have 0 hope for Stanford, and I’m East Coast, so USC is my last chance to go to the West Coast for school. It’d be a dream come true! I want this so badly I’m so sad and stressed
Do you guys know when portal gets updated? when does the result come out on the portal?
@seeyouagain The admissions office tweeted that results should be up by noon PDT on the 26th.

another anxious day of waiting nooo
I’ve been stalking the USC location tag on instagram all day and now I’m sad because I just know that I’m gonna be rejected
oh well I love all the universities I’ve already been accepted to
Hello from South Korea!
I’m the older sister (Duke grad class of 2014) of a student who JUST got a surprise package wayyy over here in Seoul
- saying he got in! woohoo! (Viterbi School of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering)
He’s attending a private school in the US - and asleep at the moment
so his family got the good news before he did lol
Best of luck to all of you guys!
Nervous here waiting for mail today! Can someone tell me where USC admits are posting their stats? Thanks!!!

Hey everyone I saw this on another thread… https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/ This shows how long it takes for priority mail to reach your region. Just put in USC’s zip code (90089)
Whoever’s from NYC in this thread and gets an acceptance packet today can you post where you live in NYC? Like which town or borough or county
thanks @screenname3488 . I checked there but I don’t see any new stats since decisions started arriving yesterday.
Anyone get package in NJ?
I know there’s no point in writing this, but I need to vent my sorrow. We live in NJ and my daughter applied to SCA for film production .Never really thought she had a chance, given how small the program is, but then she was called/interviewed awhile ago by a professor who said she was in his top 3. We visited the school, she went to the Discover USC event in Manhattan, did everything possible to increase her chances. But nothing has arrived in the mail, and I signed up for MY USPS to see if there’s anything in the pipeline and there is not. So I’m 99.9% sure she isn’t getting in (the .1 % being hope that the USPS system is flawed). She is still waiting to hear from NYU/Tisch which is her very close 2nd choice, but since they have ED1 and ED2, which she did not do, I’m not feeing optimistic. It’s so hard to see your kid’s dreams being crushed. To make matters worse, Tisch is sending out acceptance/rejection emails on her 18th birthday next week.
@dzdjdjango Just remain supportive…If you feel this strongly about it, just imagine how she’s feeling right now! I’m sure my dad has been just as crushed by my 4 rejections and 2 waitlists so far as I am, but he’s just remained supportive and reassuring, I’m sure your daughter would appreciate the same. Good luck, and don’t give up hope yet!
@dzdjdjango MY USPS won’t show anything!! Yeah it’s not an actual package, just a boxy “envelope” so it’s not trackable! Wait til tomorrow before being too sad
