@Abwee67 Yep. Didn’t get it. If you were wondering, yes it is now in my history section of the application status messages.
But I promise you @Abwee67 this message placement theory has already been debunked in previous years. It has come up every single year because people are people and we’re dying to know… Thus we are looking for every sign possible for clues.
The only sign that has ever meant anything was in 2014 when USC seriously screwed up and accidentally displayed the class/major on the financial aid page. When that happened in 2014, people figured out they weren’t accepted when it showed “unknown/unknown.” That incident in 2014 turned out to be a true indicator, but they plugged that hole up real quick. 
Notice I put the year 2014 in every sentence above so we don’t get someone saying–“wait-- where would I see unknown/unknown?”!!!
What I really wish is that they would just put the decision up on the portal from the beginning and put us out of our misery quickly. This is torture.

@bananafofanna USC said it has taken 48-72 hours to reach SoCal applicants…just let us wait til the portal gets updated, no need to crush any hope
