I am stunned!!! I told my daughter that of all her schools, USC the LEAST LIKELY acceptance. She just got accepted in Richmond, VA. It was sent priority mail. Rejected at UVA (didn’t bother her, last on her list of 5 in VA; her preferences, Richmond (accepted), JMU Honors (accepted), VA Tech (accepted) W & M (waitlisted) then UVA. Also waitlisted at Davidson and Colorado College. Rejected at Wake Forest and Haverford. Waiting on Vanderbilt, NYU, Dartmouth and Harvard (I asked her to apply here because of the generous financial aid).
Just shows the unpredictability of admissions.

No, one was admitted spring for communications and the other Dornsife. Priority mail, white boxes.

@abigails98 and @xeno2017 Also wondering where at in CO? Here in Aurora waited all morning for the mail and it just came, but nothing from USC. However our post office seems slow and we often have delays so I’m holding out hope until the portal updates!

@WycleafJean LORs were pretty good: one from my AP Euro teacher from sophomore year (remained close with her over the years & she has a rep for writing amazing letters of rec), one from AP French teacher who has had me for 2 years and knows me quite well. Essays were probably 8.5/10 - got a lot of great feedback from my college friends on them and wrote about things I was extremely passionate about. ECs include 4yrs varsity swim, 4+yrs club National Team swimmer, news editor for my school newspaper, job as a swim instructor, lots of volunteer hours at my local hospital, Relay for Life team manager, foreign exchange to France, on my swim club’s student board. Thought I had a decent shot but oh well
How does everyone know their mailing zones? Could anyone provide a link for viewing the priority zones? I’m in Montana though so I’m assuming im a 3 day lol…
