USC Class of 2024 Applicants Thread

Does anyone know the acceptance rate for regular class and spring admits? I am a spring admit

@helloominny anything yet?

It’s apparently a time zone decision. USC started with those further east and are working west through the time zones. If you are in CA and waiting, just imagine the wait for those in NYC or the UK, etc. In the past, it was always the opposite with the USPS mailings, and CA finding out first.

Is CT out yet? My portal has not been updated

Congrats. Well done. No idea- would you share your stats?

Would love to know this, too. We’d be happy with a spring (or fall!) admit.

@WWWard so what time do you think california comes out

@helloominny i applied to dornsife sorry just saw ur question

I got mine around 3:25 EST, so maybe CA will come out around then PST? I have no idea.

Accepted from TX!! Didn’t receive email first
1580, 4.0 UW, NMF, NHRP
Environmental Science and Health major

It definitely isn’t a time zone thing

Fully expecting an SCA rejection lol but I still wish they’d release CA soon!!

@Whiskey6920 no, major is not guaranteed, you apply as transfer for the next year and have to maintain a certain gpa and if you maintain it it’s still not guaranteed but almost definite. Pretty much maintain the gpa and don’t get into any disciplinary problems

@flurryhear Fairly soon I would imagine. But there are a lot of them to populate into the portals.

Have they announced the total # of admits? I know they announced the # of applicants and their goal for enrollees. Just curious about the # getting in…

Accepted spring term
NC - Chemical Engineering Major
4.0 UW GPA (don’t know W)
1550 SAT (800m, 750e)
National Merit Scholar
Solid ECs (Leadership/national titles)
White Female
Accepted: NC State, GA Tech, UCLA
Rejected: Johns Hopkins
Congrats to everyone who got accepted and lots of love for everyone who applied

Wishing you best of luck, emiliafilms. My S is also applying to SCA. We’re preparing for a rejection here in WA, but I hope both of you get in.

@macroraptor Congrats. As a JHU alum… you are better off lol

They accepted 7,558 last year. I’m guessing it’ll be similar or even higher this year, which would mean a 12.7% acceptance rate

daughter accepted to Thornton from Texas, 3.9 uw, 35 act

@PitaBread147 why do you think it will be higher
