@Newmommy9999 congrats to your daughter!! I’m a fellow Thornton hopeful sticking it out in CA

@jiminnyoo hmm i applied to marshall, hmm idk this is so strange

@flurryhear Because like 6-7K less applied overall. We will know for sure soon.

i’m from new jersey and people from my school have already heard back, but i have not yet. any thoughts?

@jwulf11 i’m in the exact same situation in NY. people from my school have heard back and I haven’t, so glad to know other people are in the same situation

@jiminyoo I think I’m in your physics class :slight_smile:

I GOT IN!!! I honestly was not expecting to get in at all because my stats weren’t that great and I didn’t even have the minimum ACT score. This just proves that it really is unpredictable in terms of admission and that no one should feel discouraged! If I can get in with a 29 ACT then you can get in.

Did anyone who got the tax verification emails get rejected?

If any of you guys could post the acceptance and rejection letter (without your name, just copy paste text if you can grab it) that would be great to have in the files for reference next year. Thanks all.

Congrats to those in so far…and to those not accepted, it is for a reason - maybe you will meet your soul mate, or find a different career passion and many other possibilities because you weren’t accepted to USC and ended up elsewhere. Be open to undefined possibilities!

You have to be open to that fact that great things are awaiting you elsewhere. And it will be ok. It hurts now, but it will be ok. Wait for it, great will come.

ahh if CA is at 2 we have 6 minutes!!! Super nervous!!

Does anyone know when a Dean’s scholarship or any sort of financial offer will come around? Nothing of the sort was listed in my letter and my ability to attend rides on this :’)

@isabella13n Congrats! There’s no minimum ACT score - it’s very holistic. I bet you’re more than deserving!

Stats for this year: 59,500 applications. “Capacity to enroll 3,100” That is NOT how many were accepted, just how many they can have. They did not list how many they accepted in the letter. “Most achieved nearly straight A averages and presented test scores in the 98 percentile”

@PitaBread147 haha who is this

Anyone without veritax form get in? ?

@xuxichi Merit announcements tomorrow. FA updates early next week… if your file is complete.

Here’s the acceptance letter:
