Are you considering Chapman? There are students that transfer from Chapman to USC every year, but hope you have a choice you can commit to and love!
Congrats! Yes it is a separate application for FSH, usually around the first or second week in April. My daughter did FSH last year as a freshman. If you don’t hear anything in early April, you can search on the USC website and there is a person you can email.

i was accepted to dodge which is great but i live close to it and just know it wouldn’t give me the experience that i want. i’m not sure where i will end up yet as i was rejected from almost every school i actually wanted to attend. very just… confused about USC. really thought i had everything to offer annenberg, including a great internship already lined up that i discussed in my essays (which i thought were also killer haha). just not meant to be i guess. thank you for all of your insight in this process!
I had a 3.98 and a 1470 and got in, but that was in 2014. I’m also from Florida. Got into UF, FSU, and USC. In hindsight I wish I chose UF because it would have been free

Again, stats are just the baseline, it’s the essays and activities/experiences that get you in. And showing USC some love. When USC AO visited D’s school, D asked lots of questions, then kept bugging him with more questions for a few weeks. I was actually afraid the AO might get tired of it all and reject the app just to avoid dealing with D (she emailed a thank you note after getting an acceptance with… you guessed it, more questions), but apparently he saw how genuinely in love D was.
This being said, I strongly believe my daughter could be just as happy and successful in life after attending any of the five other universities she was accepted to, including her safety. But of course getting her crush returned will make those first months of “building a relationship” with the school so much easier and pleasant.
