I have that
@collegeappacc I do!
My D who works in the admissions office had an online staff meeting tonight. She confirmed that admissions will be rolling throughout the day but she doesn’t know if it’s by region or what time they’ll start coming out.
There will be admitted student events online over the next several weeks.
Good luck tomorrow. My son will also be checking his portal.
so for my financial aid application, since FAST had not updated, I emailed USC on Monday. They responded promptly saying that they found my FAFSA and CSS , and they would manually enter it. As of yesterday, my FAFSA and CSS were marked as received. They said the manual entering process would take 3-5 business days, and they would contact me if more documents were necessary. Should I take this as a bad sign, seeing as though I didnt get the veritax. When did they received your FAFSA’s. Thanks
Yes, we have that, too. Wasn’t it always there? Or no? I actually don’t remember. I’m not sure I looked at that drop down menu very closely before.
Thinking good thoughts for you both! C’mon USC!
I heard updates will attempt to start around 9am PST - there, I put it out there. Of course, my birdie isn’t driving the car but works there (from home now), so things could change as they get it rolling.
And btw, I was told “rolling” is code for “it could take awhile to get them out there” not that they are actually managing the release by region.
Wouldn’t it be great if they did a sneak attack and released them at 3am so everyone woke up to them?! Enough angst already - post 'em! I know this site will have posters all night - at least you guys aren’t worrying about waking up for school tomorrow like other years!
Can’t wait for the good news from ya’ll.
Thanks @CADREAMIN !
Any idea how many kids are offered spring admission? I’d be thrilled with that option.
I stated in my ‘Why USC?’ answer that USC is my top choice, do you think they will take that into account, since they review applications in a holistic manner?
My brother was a spring admit. I think there are normally about 500 spring admits but i’m not sure how many offers they give/what yield is like. But there’s a chance they’ll accept fewer spring admits because of the lack of juniors deciding to go abroad in the spring due to this year’s situation.
Does anyone know how competitive the Pharmacology & Drug Development major is? It’s fairly new to USC for an undergraduate degree, so I’m thinking it’s on the easier end. However, it is in the USC School of Pharmacy which is fairly competitive…
did anyone else apply to annenberg? also, does anyone know anything about their acceptance rate and stuff like that? always hearing about the other schools but very little about annenberg! good luck everyone!!!
also shoutout @CADREAMIN and @WWWard for being so helpful in this thread! exciting day tomorrow!
@californiakid4 I applied to Annenberg
How is the job market of pharmacy? Average compensation value?
does anyone know how competitive the jewish studies program is? and does the scholarship information come out tomorrow also?
Pretty decent for hospitals, kind of on the lower end for opening up your own pharmacy. Average salary is about $120k in CA.
Thats amazing- I applied the same way, with BA theatre as my first choice because I also want to minor in SCA. Everything your D did sounds just like my dream plan haha. Fingers crossed I can get good news tomorrow! Did your D have high stats?
Does everyone’s financial aid thing on USC say Application in Review still?
mine does @sassycassie5896
