Likely letters are not vague.

We got what I figured was just additional financial aid information last week. It listed the merits/scholarship options and information about covering the cost of a USC education. I figured it was something sent to everyone. Didn’t think twice about it.

S24 got something giving more details on scholarships. I don’t think it is a likely letter. It seemed like a generic letter sent to all applicants

Is that by email? Many people got these , applying scholarships but we never got anything from usc except tax information in end of Nov.

Not a likely letter at all.

Snail mail and it is addressed to parents. It is not at all a “likely” letter

It’s addressed to parents and it’s basically thanking for interest in USC and gives options for financial aid. Brochure “invest in your future “ was attached. As far as I know not all parents received it. No idea why.

Today we received an email that they realized that FAFSA may not release info to schools until early February and they asked to submit taxes.

From financial office?

We received the scholarship email. I will note that my freshman daughter who is at UMich also applied and was not admitted to USC received the same email last year. Therefore, I do not believe it is a likely letter.

We were told this by an admission consultant that we spoke with. She said to consider not disclosing NM status until after acceptance. We didn’t hire her in the end and my son did add his NM status. So, we’ll see…

Our student disclosed NMSF as well. We have heard mixed reports yet in the end it felt right to my student to be forthcoming.

Has anybody received any communications from the school/department your student is applying to?

Did you already submit CSS profile?

Has anyone else had a child apply to the BS to OTD program in Chan School at USC? Haven’t seen much info and wondering how many apply and are accepted?

Email or letter. These are two different things. Responding to CaliMomFor2
