theres no waitlist for USC; just deferred for EA

lol - I think maybe those who saw it disappear just happened to check in the middle of the process. There are so many applications, I definitely think the updates happen in waves.

Maybe this was the accept wave and now they are going with waitlist and reject
There is no waitlist at USC only Accepted, Rejected, and Spring Admit. They use the Spring admit as their waitlist if needed
