My guess is if it didn’t disappear (and you had the green checks) you are accepted.
Mine wasn’t there and now it’s back and this is what it looks like when you click into it:
You have to click the academic year, I didn’t have fast portal but now I do and have the exact same SS as @greenmelon
I know, the portal astrology really messes with you. But looks like you might be the unicorn with what you saw. Is USC your first choice? GOOD LUCK!
yea im pretty sure if you start and complete the fin aid application youll have the checks

That number is your application ID.
oh i didnt apply for fin aid so thought tht was weird+ my reference no, is diff from it; but guess it doesnt mean anything
