For those who were rejected, did your letter talk about the potential of transferring as a sophomore and include a link to request more information about transfer information sessions? I have not seen anything like that in any of the other decision letters she has gotten, and I thought it was a bit unusual.
Yes, and it was in my son’s in 2023 as well. Also references “ties to USC community” - he was a legacy. In 2023 this was TTP and my son followed the plan and was admitted as a sophomore. They have since done mostly away with this, but not sure with the new president and him saying they will consider legacies. Not worth giving up scholarship money for my current son and he has some solid other offers.
So the “ties to USC community” was in your current son’s letter? It was in my daughters letter last year and she is trying to transfer in now.
Yes and I can’t remember the wording in 2023 but it was in there and not in everyones- however I have read that in 2024 and 2025 everyone that was rejected had that wording so it wasn’t a true pathway. Now if this year they have different rejection letters it may mean it is again a viable pathway.
Last year everyone gets the information about Trojan Transfer but only some got the phrase about ties to USC Community.
Accepted for Spring Semester.
Congrats to all accepted and to those knowing you will attend, welcome to the Trojan Family!
