USC decision dates

This is the GENERAL mailing of USC letters:

-End of January through February: Acceptances for those who will receive merit scholarships. Letters/invitations for merit scholarship interviews.
-End of February: Letters for other merit scholarships.
-Beginning of March through the beginning of April: Acceptances for all others.
-1st or 2nd week in April: Rejections

The above is taken from FAQ post - for current students who may be looking for answers.

Thank you - this is very helpful.

Does “other merit scholarships” include NMF Presidential Scholarships?

When will the merit scholarship decisions be made and communicated to applicants?

Lame–not necessarily. They may come at any wave. NMF Presidential is a great $$ reward, but not really considered as a separate category by the AdCom (that we know of).

midwest–in 2008 the letter w/scholarship notification came around March 23ish.

Lame,
USC’s NM Scholarship is conditional on 2 things- acceptance by USC AND the admitted student notifying NMSF that USC is his first choice by the NMSF May deadline.
