<p>The American Cancer Society awarded Dr. Peter Jones of the USC Keck School of Medicine the ACS Medal of Honor. This is the society’s highest honor which he received for his contribution to fighting cancer.</p>
<p>Dr. Jones, who is the Distinguished Professor of Urology and Molecular Biology at Keck, received the medal for his research into the epigenetics of the disease.</p>
