just received that big beautiful acceptance envelope. guess the commitment page trick is accurate. good luck to all those still waiting. looks like SCA is rolling theirs out.

lastofthepirates - Nice! Congratulations!
:)

lastofthepirates - congratss! Yay SCA! Maybe you should nudge them a little into sending me something my way. What major did you apply for?

congrats lastofthepirates!!!

Oh wait, nevermind, I know you applied for production.

Where do you find the commitment page?

I called and asked why my SGR status had not been updated being that I handed them in, in person on thursday.

DJ handed them in on friday and had his updated later that day.

I was told “we’re about a week and a half behind on processing documents at this time. Check your status next monday”

What the hell…

lastofthepirates- congrats! hope to join you!

solomonm- They told me the same thing when I called last week and told me to expect a status update some time this week because I faxed my Spring Grades last Tuesday.

Yah I’m just worried because DJ got a status update a few hours after he handed his in and he did it after me o.O

congrats lastofthepirates!

Solomonm, literally I walked in around 2:30, got home and had this on my update.

We have received the spring grades requested by the committee. We will be forwarding your file for further review very soon. For students submitting spring grades, we typically mail final decisions by mid-July.

Check the time.

I could assume I caught adcom at the right time?

Yah see I did the same exact thing except about 2 hours earlier. That’s why I’m worried hah

Solomonm, what type of form did you use for your spring grade request? Did you turn in everything, including enrollment confirmation?

One thing that could have made mine quicker is I put the barcode stickers on every form.

My tanscripts were sealed in an official letter used by my university. I also had a cover letter detailing what was in the entire package (letter of rec, spring grades, classes I’m taking for the summer, explanation for 1 W on my grades). Everything was in one large envelope.

Had my USC ID# name and all my info on the envelope. As well as a sticker on the envelope and every item I had inside.

OK, I donno. You called them today and they said wait till next monday? That makes no sense at all.

Possibly because I am applying to a non-impacted program. Though, I did not submit my SGR to SPPD. I went directly to adcom. Each school could have a folder though.

Is your major impacted?

I’m not applying to any specific school. I’m a freshmen currently applying for sophomore year so I’m not actually applying to Marshall yet. I did have Business Administration listed as my major but I handed in my envelope directly to an undergrad admissions rep in the admissions office (the one on child’s way by gate 3)

Yup same place. Sorry bud, I have no clue.

You bribed them didn’t you?.. or sexual favors…

don’t lie

Yes, yes I did. I looked at both of the reps with a seductive eye. Then we did it right on the adcom’s discussion table. BTW Woman of Troy, you are in. I made sure I put your name on the admits list. Though some files had some damage from my… yeah sorry about that mixtec, yours had some “water” damage.

HAHA I kid.

massive massive sigh this is getting depressing.
