<p>Try calling the actual school and not admissions. They could give you some greater insight on where exactly your file is at. </p>
<p>Again, this is the week OF June 1st. They should be able to give you some more detailed info on most of your files, as long as you do not ask outright what is their decision. Approach it as can they help you understand the process, instead of I know this is suppose to happen, so what is taking you forever.</p>

<p>carolina - Yes, they will consider you for your second choice major if they can’t take you for your first choice. I don’t think it makes any difference that your second choice is at an entirely separate school, provided that you fulfilled the pre-reqs for it.</p>

<p>Has anyone who turned in their spring grades gotten a status change? How did you turn in the grades? And how long did it take for the status to change once you handed them in?</p>

<p>Solomon - Call them and ask. They have it on their computers long before we get our statuses updated. That’s been my experience anyway, from when I was sending in the gazillion documents they needed during the application process.</p>
<p>Ask them if they can please check the status of your application, and feign ignorance about the fact that you can check it yourself online. After they have your file pulled up, ask if they’ve received your spring grades.</p>

<p>i hope this week brings some stress relief for many of you. i think it is apparent that the particular schools are making you all wait, not your applications. i would be very happy to see everyone on here at usc! </p>

<p>I mean I spoke with them on the phone already. They just said that it probably hasn’t been processed yet and that I should only start to worry if it doesnt change by the middle of next week. Normally I wouldn’t care and I understand that it takes time to process crap but the fact that DJSCA and I did the same thing and he turned in his about 2 hours after me and he got a status update by the time he got home is a little troubling for me.</p>

I faxed in my spring grades and it took them a week to process it, and then 4 days to get an update of “we have received your spring grades…etc.” I talked to someone today who said that after you get this message it will be about two weeks until you get a decision…</p>

You guys said about 3 business days, right? Today would be the third. I’m starting to think I’ve been rejected, though. That just might be low self-esteem or something.</p>
