<p>I got a SGR and I just got the “The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision.” update so i guess ill be hearing soon…</p>

<p>I just saw my financial aid award, & I got FREE TUITION!!! Basically a full ride, I just have to pay for my living costs. Aaagh! I’m so grateful; really, I never get this lucky!</p>
<p>I know waiting SUCKS, but hopefully you all w/out SGR’s will hear this week. I’ll stay on the boards & root for all of you!</p>
<p>Now I just have to get through finals this week.</p>

<p>solomonm- I faxed my spring grades towards the end of last week, and still no status update. I also called and they told me the same exact thing they told you. I feel exactly what you feel right now. However, i’m thinking that you probably turned in your grades to the admissions office around 12ish-1sh right? I think the adcoms are at lunch at that time. And when DJ turned in his, he was lucky and that was probably when the adcoms were finished with lunch and his grades were most likely put on top of a pile of some sort and tended to first. I think it was all a matter of timing.</p>

<p>sc girly12 - I applied to marshall for bus admin. and I got a SGR on the 19th and faxed them the same day… I also faxed mashall grade cards for the pre-req classes on the 15th…</p>
<p>nykn-okay cool. I’m also a marshall applicant. I faxed my grades on the 22nd of last week which was a Thursday. The office of admission were closed until today. Do you think I should be getting a decision soon? I faxed Marshall AND USC admission office my grades. I recieved a spring grade request on the 5th of May.</p>

<p>USCgal - if you scroll up a little on page 412, lastofthepirates posted a link to see if you were going to have to deposit something for Admission Certification. I guess if it says you do you are most likely accepted? Or something? Like I said, I haven’t looked yet 'cause I don’t want to risk anything.</p>

<p>scgirly12 - yea i can’t wait…im anticipating getting something on friday, since i live in New Jersey, mail from CA usually takes 3 days… hopefully good news lol… but I would think that you should find out sometime next week (going on the tie frame of my updates)…</p>

<p>EDIT: what was your status when you RECEIVED your spring grade request? LIke a week ago?</p>
<p>In my case, I truly think it was pure timing. Like sc girly said, I got them coming back from lunch and mine was placed on top of the pile.</p>
<p>scgirly12- when i got my SGR, my status was “we are unable to process the status of your app at this time…please contact us…” then it switched to the “committee is reviewing” on the 23rd and then “your decision is in the mail” today…</p>
<p>For those that have been admitted, can any of you see your STARS report?</p>
<p>DJS3CA- I got the UC Riverside thing today. -_-<br>

<p>so i think its Me, Ksbr27, and WOT, that know we are NOT going to get a SGR. Oi! the tension is killing me! I still do not have a status change (still on status#2). </p>
<p>When the admission counselor told me that I was not going to get a SGR she also said, “Thats all I can tell you”. I am sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing. It can be both, because I remember a poster from before stated that an admissions counselor told him/her that his application isn’t look so “great” and should make “contingent plans” with his/other university (because that poster was being pressured with the deposit from the other university). Why wouldn’t they tell us the same? Or maybe my analysis is just stupid, and they just purely have not made a decision and thus the statement, “Thats all I can tell you”.</p>
<p>sunsetsam-Yeah the one I got was like “uh, you should be fine, they haven’t requested any spring grades from you”.</p>
<p>They obviously don’t know that I’ll read way into that. 
Not really, I actually feel somewhat relieved that he said i’ll know this week.</p>
<p>nykn43866- okay thanks. Currently I still have the “we are unable to processs…” Yah it did take them about 5-6 days to process the final grades. Thanks for your input. It gave me some insight into when I will hear.</p>
