USC Fin Aid negotiation

Will USC negotiate financial aid if I show them aid offers from other schools like WashU or Cornell?

The USC-determined need is figured using the CSS/Profile and USC’s own calculation. If there were errors in the information you provided or you have special circumstances, you can ask them to review your aid package with that new information. USC does not “match” offers from schools that use different calculations.

Be prepared to walk away, if they do not negotiate. BTW, with WashU and Cornel on hand, why bother USC?

USC doesn’t negotiate FA. USC will only discuss FA errors or special circumstances as outlined by their criteria. I agree with the Arbydan’s post. Be prepared to walk.

do you know if National Achievement Finalists can get scholarships too?
