USC First Choice College Deadline

<p>I’m sorry if this has been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone knew USC’s deadline to be designated as your first choice college to get the presidential scholarship. I know that for some schools, to get the scholarship, you need to designate that college as your first choice by March 1st. Is this the case with USC? I tried looking on USC’s website but all I found was this:
“Amount Half tuition (approximately $19,285)
Number of awards Varies
Notification date By April 1, 2010
Selection Criteria
Selected on the basis of PSAT performance. Entering freshmen are considered if they have been designated National Merit Finalists and name USC as their first-choice college with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.”</p>

<p>You need to contact USC’s scholarship office and find out. People here might give you wrong info.</p>

<p>Why haven’t you already named USC as your first choice?</p>
