I’m curious about the Helenes, and I’m wondering what the big differences are between Helenes and sororities.
Helenes do recruitment like sororities, have bigs/littles, are big on sisterhood, have traditions, etc. But recruitment seems less formal, the group itself seems more service-oriented maybe, less of a time commitment, maybe not so big on parties…but I’m guessing the biggest one is that the Helenes don’t have their own house.
Anyone have any experience with this organization and how it is similar or different from the sororities on campus?
