yeah, this is a REALLY good way to compare the overall quality of an education at USC to other colleges [ NOT!]
sheesh…

why Universidad Nacional Aut

This site makes no claims that this list has anything to do with quality of education. This is simply a list of the most popular universities. Nothing wrong with that.

“This is simply a list of the most popular universities.”
this a list of which universities have been googled the most, not which are the most popular. And it is very easy to manipulate how “popular” a website is , by encouraging “clicks” from online participants.

This doesn’t detract from USC in any way, unless you hold Google in high esteem. But I, for one, would have guessed Harvard as the most popular.

This is not just about which universities have been Googled the most. In case you’re unaware, Alexa Traffic Rank measures the amount of Internet traffic for any given site, regardless of the clickstream.

Moreover, how could any university be popular without being prominent on the Internet? And clearly, if a university if given much attention on the Internet, this is a blatant indicator that it is indeed popular.

^ dude what?

^ …what?
