What are the chances of my acceptance to University of Southern California or University of California: Los Angeles if I have a 3.58 GPA (3.3 freshmen and sophomore year, 4.0 so far junior year), and a 1620 on my SATs (590 reading, 510 math, 520 writing, 9 on the essay)
I also expect to get a better grade on my SAT when I take it again since I will get a tutor. My ACT is scheduled for June.
I am the Vice President of a 4H group (Community Service Organization). I am a camp consoler also.
I don’t play a school sport but I am very involved in horseback riding (Western) and I show.
I attend a very good public school in New York.

Schools like those are very big on GPA, especially UCLA. Try your best to raise your grades and most importantly take harder classes!! Aim for AT LEAST an 1850 on your SAT and a 30+ on the ACT. Also try to be more involved with your school activities. If you do all that (plus your horseback riding and two solid personal statements) you will have a pretty good chance.

i knew some1 who had 2100+ and a better gpa and got rejected from UCLA

UCLA and USC are greaaat schools. With the SAT score you have right now, you have no shot.

Aim for a 2200 or 33 (since your GPA is low as well). But your chances look bleak.

There are surprises every year, but based on admission trends from previous years, with no athletic recruitment you do not have a very good chance.
