<p>Professor Tony Maxworthy is the Smith International Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Viterbi School of Engineering. He was awarded the American Physical Society Fluid Dynamics Prize. Department Chair, Geoff Spedding, remarked, " We are all delighted he has been awarded the Fluid Dynaamics Prize, which is arguably the most prestigious in the discipline of fluid physics."</p>
